By train, Llanfairpwll is the next stop (a request stop) after Bangor on the North Wales Coast Line.
By sea, Holyhead has very good connections with Dublin and Dun Laoghaire in the Republic of Ireland. Stena Sealink, one of the main ferry operators, has high-speed catamaran ferries (as large as Wembley stadium), which will dramatically cut journey time to about an hour and a half.
By air, the nearest airports with scheduled services are Liverpool and Manchester. There are small airstrips available at certain times at Mona (Anglesey) and Caernarfon.
